Operator's Manual

Monospace voice, safety-orange accent, forensic-report layout.

Reads like a service order or a console dashboard. Status bar at the top, numbered case-files (01.1, 01.2). IBM Plex Mono everywhere. Single safety-orange accent used as a warning tag, never decorative. The trust signal is technical confidence: this is run by people who open the hood and write down what they did.

Designer's notes. Built for clients who want their service provider to look like an engineer, not a brand. The numbered case-file structure carries through services and contact pages so prospects experience a full forensic-report system.

Corporate Enterprise

BairesDev-style. White, teal accent, repeating CTAs, social proof.

Maximum perceived legitimacy. Big bold sans, generous white space, full-width gradient hero, animated stat callouts, client logo strip, sticky header with phone and Schedule a Call. Multiple conversion points throughout. The standard SaaS-services template. Broadly familiar, conservative, scalable.

Designer's notes. Reads as established and reliable. Best when the client values 'we look like a 200-person consultancy' over 'we look distinctive.' Comes with full pricing tiers, testimonial scaffolding, and a multi-step conversion path.

Indie Studio

Pure white, electric lime, Switzer display, asymmetric grid.

A real human runs this. Asymmetric 2/3 + 1/3 grid with a 'Currently shipping / Recently shipped / Booking' sidebar. Big bold Switzer display type. Lime-highlighted phrases. Full-bleed lime billboard for the anchor line. First-person voice. Honest, opinionated, slightly irreverent.

Designer's notes. The 'Currently shipping' sidebar is the strongest moat. Communicates real human availability and an honest cadence. The lime highlight on key phrases is the signature visual move.

Vaporwave CRT. Deep purple, electric cyan, pixel mono.

Old-internet engineering pride executed with 2026 polish. CRT scanline overlay, beveled chrome topbar, ASCII bracket kickers ([ TRANSMISSION 001 ]), cyan glow on headlines, neon double borders, blinking status indicator. ENTER and EXIT terminology throughout. VT323 pixel font for headlines.

Designer's notes. Will read as broken or 'too much' to anyone under 30 or non-technical. Strong filter, polarizing on purpose. Best when the client wants to attract a specific tribe and is comfortable losing the rest.

Long-form journalism aesthetic. Magazine masthead with date stamp ('Vol. I · No. 01'), drop cap on lede, two-column body in The Work section, oxblood pull-quote with rules above and below, byline ('By Pixel Pulse · Filed under: Service Disruption'), small-caps kickers, footnotes with superscript references.

Designer's notes. Smartest-feeling of the nine. Best for service businesses where the work is itself editorial: writing-led agencies, research consultancies, education advocates, journalism-adjacent practices.

Modern SaaS Minimal

Linear / Vercel-adjacent. White, indigo accent, soft shadows, big sans.

Clean modern SaaS template. Subtle gradient mesh in hero, soft elevated cards with small shadows, indigo on CTAs and links, Inter at extra-bold for headlines, generous whitespace. Hero imagery, service cards with images, animated counters, fade-in on scroll, video placeholder. Production-ready feeling without being loud.

Designer's notes. The most adaptable of the nine. Works as a frame for any portfolio because the colors don't fight other content. Best default if you want a clean professional wrapper that doesn't compete with the work being shown.

Designer's notes. Requires real photography to fully land. Stock photos read as stock here. Best when the client has actual visual assets (work, team, location) or is willing to invest in a photo session.

Stripe / Linear product page. Glassmorphic cards, animated counters.

Looks like a SaaS product page that happens to be a marketing site. Near-black bg with hint of blue, animated gradient mesh in hero, glassmorphic cards with backdrop-blur, big animated counters, embedded fake dashboard component with sparklines and live status indicator, gradient text on one phrase, logo cloud strip. Tech-forward, polished, metrics-first.

Designer's notes. Reads as a SaaS company itself, not a service shop. Use for agencies that want to be mistaken for product companies, or for service businesses that genuinely have measurable real-time outputs to show.

Maximalist Color

Color riot. Full-bleed blocks of mustard, magenta, lime, blue.

Bright, bold, joyful. Each section is a full-bleed solid color (mustard / coral / blue / magenta / lime). Slight rotations on cards (-2deg / +1.5deg). Hard offset drop shadows (8px 8px 0 black, no blur). Bagel Fat One chunky display for headlines. Sticker-style tilted badges. Unicode arrows instead of icons. Refuses to be quiet.

Designer's notes. Loud on purpose. Filters out buttoned-up industries. Best when the client's audience is creators, makers, or DTC consumers who reward personality over polish.
