Pixel Pulse

I build websites that hold up. And rescue the ones that didn't.

I've been shipping web work for over a decade. Pixel Pulse is the small studio I run now — solo or with a couple of trusted collaborators depending on the project. Flat-rate. Code you own. I pick up the phone.

A hacked site is a closed store.

I'll reopen it.

Three kinds of jobs.

I keep getting hired for the same three engagements. If yours sounds like one of these, that's good. If it's stranger than these, even better — write me.

A storefront mid-build, product grid loading

Online stores that actually sell.

Shopify or WooCommerce, not Squarespace dressed up as a store. I wire in real Stripe checkout, real inventory feeds, real product schemas. The site doesn't fall over on Black Friday because I've already tested it under load.

A WordPress dashboard mid-rescue, security plugin running

Hacked WordPress, back online.

I open the file system, find the backdoor, patch the plugin that let it in. Monitoring goes on so the next attempt sends an alert instead of a ransom note. Most rescues ship within 24 hours of the call.

An invoice and a hosting console, side by side

Hosting bills, audited honestly.

I open your invoices and find what you're paying for and don't need. Redundant CDN, plugin you forgot you bought, hosting plan you outgrew. No new platform, no migration risk, just a written report and a smaller monthly bill.

Things that won't bend.

Flat-rate, never hourly.

You get a number before we start. If scope grows I tell you upfront. I don't bill in fifteen-minute increments because nobody's life is fifteen minutes long.

Code you own, always.

Source code, credentials, DNS, hosting accounts. Nothing locked behind my login. If you want to fire me you can do it tomorrow and take everything with you.

Boring choices, modern stack.

Astro, React, Node, WordPress when it fits. I pick what's still going to work in five years, not what's hot this quarter. If you want bleeding edge for its own sake, I'm not your engineer.

I pick up the phone.

Site goes down at 2am? I see the alert and respond. Maintenance plans get under-an-hour response on critical issues. No tickets, no queue, no offshore relay.

Talk to me.

Send a rough description of what you're trying to build, fix, or grow. You'll hear back from me, not a form-bot, within one business day. The first read is free — I'll tell you whether I can help, what it'd cost, and when I could start.

Or email me directly: hello@pixelpulsellc.net
