Traditional pottery shipping relies heavily on non-biodegradable bubble wrap, polystyrene peanuts, and plastic tape. We engineered our fulfillment to be 100% compostable and curbside recyclable.
Custom nested pulp trays cradle carafe spouts, handles, and dripper cones against courier drops.
Fiberglass-free kraft tape bonded with natural starch adhesive that recycles cleanly with the cardboard carton.
Non-toxic loose fill made from organic cornstarch that dissolves completely under warm tap water or in your home compost bin.
In the rare event a ceramic or wood piece suffers courier transit damage, email our workshop with a photo. We dispatch a priority replacement immediately.

Returns accepted within 30 days on unused goods in original packaging. Handmade variations are part of each piece.
If an item does not suit your kitchen counter or morning routine, return it in unused condition in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. We provide a pre-paid USPS domestic return label.

Material Care Instructions
Stoneware is dishwasher and microwave safe. Linen wants a cold wash and line dry. Maple woodware wants a wipe with a damp cloth and periodic beeswax balm.
Hand-Thrown Vitrified Stoneware
- Safe for daily automatic dishwasher cycles and natural detergents.
- Microwave safe for reheating coffee, tea, and broths.
- Rinse oily dressings or coffee grounds with warm water after use.
- Do not place cold ceramic directly over open gas burner flames or stovetop heating elements.
- Avoid sudden extreme thermal shock (e.g. plunging hot baker into ice water).
Pure Washed Belgian Flax Linen
- Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with mild eco-friendly detergent.
- Line dry or tumble dry on low heat to preserve the natural textured slub.
- Iron with steam while slightly damp if a crisp, smooth finish is desired.
- Do not use chlorine bleach or synthetic fabric softeners which coat flax fibers.
- Avoid high-heat industrial dryers which can weaken natural selvedge threads.
Solid Kiln-Dried Ohio Hard Maple & Walnut
- Wipe clean immediately after use with a soft damp cloth and mild soap.
- Dry upright in a dish rack with good airflow on both sides.
- Condition every 4–6 weeks with food-grade beeswax balm or organic mineral oil.
- Never submerge solid wood boards in water or leave soaking in the sink.
- Never place in the dishwasher or microwave as steam and high heat will warp solid grain.
