The centerpiece of my morning routine
The interior ridges provide the cleanest extraction I have had from a ceramic cone. The handle has a wonderful notch for your thumb that gives you total control when pouring.
Hand-thrown in Athens, OH on a Shimpo wheel. Each piece carries an embossed studio stamp on the base and natural mineral variance in the glaze.
A weighted stoneware dripper and 16-ounce carafe designed for balanced, uniform extraction. The interior spiral ridges channel water through standard cone filters without clogging, while the thick ceramic walls insulate your brew.
Stoneware is fully vitrified and fired to Cone 6 (2,232°F). Safe for daily dishwasher cycles, boiling water pours, and microwave reheating.
Avoid placing cold ceramic directly over open gas burner flames or sudden extreme thermal shock (e.g. ice water directly into hot vessel).
Designed in our Columbus Parsons Ave workshop and thrown in collaboration with Sun & Clay Pottery in Athens, Ohio. Glazes are mixed in-house using natural feldspar, local silica, and non-toxic iron earth pigments.

Came in a sturdy molded pulp nest without a single piece of plastic tape or bubble wrap. It looks gorgeous sitting on the open shelf next to our kettle.
We got the 28oz double size. It stays hot through breakfast and cleans up easily in the dishwasher.
