132 Years of Continuous Publication
Founded during the height of the Cascade timber boom in 1894 as a weekly letterpress broadsheet, The Herald has documented every civic milestone, bridge construction, flood, election, and school founding in Mill City across three centuries.
Complete microfilm editions (1894–present) are housed at the Mill City Public Library Main Branch Reference Room. Digital archives (2002–present) are searchable by subscribers and credentialed researchers.
